Strengthening community health systems through collaboration and innovation.

The Ghana Red Cross Society, together with the Ghana Health Service and the Health Keepers Network, successfully held a Co-Creation Workshop under the Resilient and Empowered African Community Health (REACH) Initiative in Ghana.

With funding support from the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and technical support from the IFRC, this important initiative seeks to recruit and support over 2,300 Community Health Workforce personnel across the country to strengthen community health delivery, resilience, and local response systems.

The workshop brought together key stakeholders and partners to jointly design approaches that will empower communities, improve uptake and access to essential basic health services, and build a healthier and more resilient Ghana for all.

Together, we continue advancing community-led health solutions that leaves no one behind.
