Ghana Red Cross Society (GRCS)
The Ghana Red Cross Society (GRCS), established in 1958 and headquartered in Accra, is Ghana’s leading independent humanitarian organization, operating under the Red Cross Act and as a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
As part of its institutional strengthening and restructuring process, GRCS invites applications from qualified and experienced Ghanaian professionals to fill the following Headquarters-level management positions:____________________________

  1. Finance Manager
    Duty Station: Accra | Reports to: Secretary General
    Role Summary:
    Provide strategic leadership and oversight of financial management, administration, compliance, budgeting, reporting, audit, treasury, procurement, and asset management functions to ensure accountability and sustainability.
    Requirements (Finance Manager):
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
    • Professional qualification (ICA Ghana, ACCA, CPA)
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience, including senior leadership
    • Experience in donor-funded/humanitarian programs is an advantage

  1. Human Resources (HR) Manager
    Duty Station: Accra | Reports to: Secretary General
    Role Summary:
    Lead HR strategy, recruitment, performance management, policy compliance, employee relations, and organizational development across headquarters and regional branches.
    Requirements (HR):
    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field
    • Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM) – mandatory
    • Minimum 7 years’ progressive HR experience, including senior level
    • Humanitarian/development experience is an advantage

  1. Communications Manager
    Duty Station: Accra | Reports to: Secretary General
    Role Summary:
    Lead communications strategy, media relations, crisis communications, digital platforms, advocacy support, and public visibility initiatives.
    Requirements (Comms Manager):
    • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, PR or related field
    • Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience
    • Proven emergency/crisis communication experience
    • Humanitarian/non-profit experience is an advantage.
