The Red Cross Society of Ghana is a humanitarian organization dedicated to saving lives, supporting communities, and promoting health and dignity for all. As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, we work to provide relief during emergencies, educate communities on health and safety, and stand with the vulnerable in times of need.

PRINCIPLES AND VALUES

The Red Cross aims to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. It seeks to protect life, health, and dignity without discrimination based on nationality, race, religious beliefs, class, or political opinions.
HUMANITY

The organization provides aid and assistance based solely on need, without favoritism or discrimination. It prioritizes assistance to the most vulnerable individuals and communities without taking sides in conflicts or situations.
IMPARTIALITY

Capitalize on low hanging fruit to identify a ballpark value added activity to beta test. Override the digital divide with additional clickthroughs from DevOps. Nanotechnology immersion along the information highway will close the loop on focusing solely on the bottom line.
NEUTRALITY

The organization operates independently from any government, political group, or other external influence. This ensures that its actions are solely based on the needs of those affected by crises or disasters.
INDEPENDENCE

The Red Cross is a voluntary humanitarian movement, and its services are provided by volunteers who are committed to its mission and principles.
VOLUNTARY SERVICE

The Red Cross is a unified movement comprised of multiple National Societies, including the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The unity allows for collective action and a more effective response to humanitarian challenges.

The movement is universal, with National Societies established in nearly every country worldwide. It endeavors to extend humanitarian assistance and promote humanitarian principles to all people in need, regardless of their location or circumstances.
